But when you're in charge, you have to make the tough calls. If you're so focused on finding a way for no one to get hurt, but your only options are one person gets hurt or some other person gets hurt, and you waste all your time looking for some third way, then both of them are gonna get hurt because you waited too long to do something about it. It's fine if they have their own ideals, but when they won't take action because any of their options go against their ideals? That's a problem. That's not something you want to see in a leader.
