[Weird? :( ok but that's fair he did suplex mizuki like three weeks ago]
Yeah. It's been a problem since I was a kid. I like them just fine, and I can talk to them and get within a certain distance. I just can't handle them touching me.
I know how to deal with it for the most part and can work past it in the case of an emergency. I just... always seem to find the girls that think it's cute to make me jump around for the fun of it.
...
Zoe was one of the only ones who didn't do that. Not until she had to use it to try and save herself, anyway.
I...have never heard of this as a thing. I believe you, but weird to consider.
[A sigh.] Zoe, despite all of her annoyances, was actually pretty cool that way. But I was teaching her how to defend herself. Guess that was the last-ditch effort.
You're gonna have to find a way to fight this thing, man.
Which is smart since that's exactly what would happen. That was one of Love's favorites. The other kid, too. Ray. Love doesn't curse people usually but I wouldn't be surprised if she tried now.
Maybe you can get away with keeping your mouth shut unless you absolutely have to speak.
I don't plan on it. I can't stay silent forever, especially if people start asking me about the tech. But I can play dumb until then.
...
Ray was the only one I wasn't responsible for. If I can focus on him, then that might be best to start... [There's an odd hesitation to the last sentence, one that he ALMOST rolls his eyes at. More to himself to Cunning, he adds:] I'll be the most help that way.
...I'm not going to tell you what you have to do, because I think you're smart enough to get yourself out of this somehow. It's a solid strategy the way you plan on doing this, but the best thing you can do is watch the people around you. Hook them on other ideas if you're going to do that.
Two. Luke and Yu. They've both seen my coin. [And here he pulls out a god coin from his pocket. It absolutely is not his, but it's definitely darker.] I thought ahead for that, at least.
A swap-out. Interesting choice. [But a good one.] I know the other guy's your best friend and probably will keep his mouth shut for the sake of keeping you around. What about Yu?
Luke will have to be in a really bad spot to open his mouth. He's... scared. He knows something happened since we woke up this morning. But he's not going to say anything unless he thinks his own words leading to killing me is an action worth taking.
[Which is a REALLY DEPRESSING THING TO THINK ABOUT SO HE'S JUST MOVING ON.]
I think Yu trusts me more than he should... and he doesn't suspect anything's amiss. I even talked to him this morning, with the curse completely messing up everything I was saying, and he still just assumed I was grieving a friend.
He thinks with his heart more than his head sometimes. He's not as predictable as Luke. But I think the swap will be enough to get him to reconsider, if I have to use it.
I've noticed that about him though. We've talked. Seemed a little too attached to his emotions than his head. Even with the coin swap he might think you got hit with Ambition's power and just didn't tell him yet. And you know how messy trials get. It'll be surprising if you guys follow a cohesive train of thought for a while.
